Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design.

Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) is currently the industry standard for measuring building sustainability.  Developed by the U.S. Green Building Council, LEED is a voluntary rating system that defines high performance green buildings which are healthier, environmentally responsible, and more profitable structures.  The increased return on investment has now been documented by two studies, one performed by the New Buildings Institute (NBI) and one by CoStar Group.  According to the NBI study, LEED certified buildings consume 25% to 30% less energy than non-LEED certified buildings.  Green sustainable buildings are leading the way to lessening our carbon footprint.

SystemWorks assists in writing the Owner's Project Requirements, reviewing the Basis of Design and submittals, and prepares the System Manual and narrative for LEED documentation.
